Considering the real-time nature of The MT Gab Forum, it is impossible for us to review messages or confirm the validity of information posted. Please remember that we at MT Gab are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the MT Gab Forum or anyone associated with the administration of the MT Gab Forum. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by e-mail. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use the MT Gab Forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you.

Although the MT Gab Forum does not, and cannot, review all the messages posted, and is not responsible for the content of any of these messages, MT Gab Administration reserves the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless, Medword Medical Salesarray(Owners of Medword and the MT Gab Forum licensee), the Ultimate Bulletin Board, Infopoparray(the makers of the bulletin board software), and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your messagearray(s).

We at MTGab.com also reserve the right to reveal your identity array(or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.

We at MTGab.com also reserve the right to initially register your selected username but subsequently review it. Some users either purposely or inadvertently register offensive usernames or usernames that are acronyms and reflect an existing legal entity such as a company or organization, i.e., "Coca-Cola" or "AAA". This type of username and others are reserved in order that members not be accidentally identified as being with, representing, or affiliated with, an organization using that same acronym. If you are in fact an authorized user of an acronym you have submitted as a username please advise Medword via e-mail on MT Gab.

An Important Clause of Registration & Membership:

Please note that competitors' advertisements (veiled or blatant), chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations, (including solicitations for employment), are disallowed on the MT Gab Forum and will be deleted at the sole discretion of the MT Gab Administrator. Medword owns and operates an on-line store. Certain types of products are sold in our store that we feel will be suitable for medical transcriptionists. As working medical transcriptionists ourselves, this on-line store is our sole source of income for supporting our sites.

Occasionally, a person from another medical transcription company or a company that sells the same products as Medword, will register with MT Gab. We are happy to have employees of our sales competition as members and give them all the rights and privileges all members normally enjoy. However, if we discover they are using their membership to answer questions only to promote their own products or services, they will have their membership revoked and be banned from the MT Gab site. Not only do we consider this behavior unethical, we also consider it an insult to Medword who hosts and funds the MT Gab at no charge to members. Also at our discretion, we may post the individual's name and website in order to inform our membership.

A Very Important Note Regarding Spam Filters

You or your ISP (Internet Service Provider) may have a filter in place to prevent spam e-mail from being delivered to your e-mail box. If so, you will need to make whatever arrangements or changes are required to allow e-mail from MTGab.com to be delivered. You should allow mail from MTGab.com and/or e-mail from MTGabAdmin@mtgab.com. Some ISPs and spam filters have an e-mail message system where the receiving party is sent an e-mail requiring them to click on a link and enter information in order to have their message released to the recipient. MTGab.com cannot do this. The onus is therefore on each member to ensure that e-mail from the MT Gab site or administrator will be accepted. If this is not done, you will not be able to receive your password or welcome message after completing this registration.
