Hi all! I am new to this forum, and I'm pleased to have found you! ;-)

Does anyone have suggestions for dubbing standard size cassettes to microcassettes? I have a microcassette transcriber and sold my standard size one since no one seemed to be using that size. Of course, as soon as I sold it, someone asked me to do a project with standard size tapes! =:-o

Are there devices that allow you to insert both cassettes and dub, or would it be just as easy (and less expensive) to set up a cable link between the two cassette players and transfer the information that way? Thanks for any advice that you may have for me!

Welcome!

I've heard of adaptors for micros to play in standards--don't know if there are any around.

I would go to a place like Radio Shack and ask them about recording equipment to change standards to micros.

Good luck!

Thanks all for the warm welcome! They are three kitties as in "cats" wink All rescues: a male red tabby, a male black DLH, and a sweet female tortie-point Himalayan. They love to help mom type, so I have to make sure there aren't any "@#%*&^&sdf(&" words in the final copies! laugh

Welcome, Mom.

I'm about to adopt a stray cat myself; I'm hoping to train her to use the toilet, glue her hair to her body, and look stuff up for me while I type. I hadn't thought of actually teaching her to transcribe...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Do you think that last is being unrealistic?

By the way...she's a beautiful cobby-bodied long-haired gray tabby with the most incredible orange eyes...I'm looking for a name! She's been called "Pumpkin," but that's my pet name for my daughter and she'd never forgive me if I usurped her name for a mere housepet smile .

I'm looking for something that refers to those unbelievable eyes. I'm currently considering "Topaz" (although that's not really the right color) but she's smoky-colored with blazing eyes and there MUST be a word that incorporates both...I just cannot think of it. Any suggestions would be welcome.
