Hi Gracie

We also have two lovely little cats who had both been abandoned. One had been abandoned at birth, Rudy, who is a short-haired totally black cat and Sophie, a pale orange and white long-haired who was about 6 months old when abandoned in a cardboard box on the waterfront! Now, they are like family.

My husband who likes reading Philip Craig's books wanted to change their names to Oliver Underfoot and Velcro (the names of one of the main characters two cats).

Regarding your little kittie, the description reminds me of my sister's cat whose name is Tiger Lily although she gets called "Lily" most of the time and "Tiger Lily" when she is naughty. It is really good to have at least a three syllable name for those occasions when they are really, really naughty. But, after reading your post about loving the smell of orange blossoms, how about calling her Orange Blossom? (OB for short or Blossom) I love cats...

We also rescued 2 kittens in November. They were both born in August (different litters). Ziggy is an orange/white tabby male. My husband calls him a "hoodlum" because he is into everything. Zoe is a solid gray female. She has a more delicate face and slender body than Ziggy, and she's a little lady - a bit skittish but lovable nonetheless. Our 8-year-old Lhasa Apso has really livened up since they came to live here!

I couldn't get the image to load, so here's the website addy: Ziggy & Zoe

Aren't they adorable?

Dear Members.

This forum topic is "Dubbing Standard to Microcassettes?"

If your conversation starts to go off topic then please just add "Meet me in the "Over The Backyard Fence" (or whatever forum) and we can talk more there if you like."

Personal discussions are great and are what, I think, gives a board its "soul." However, I implore members to stay on topic and move off-topic conversations to the proper forum. It keeps the board organized and allows other members to find messages relevant to the topic only.

Not a big deal and no apologies necessary - just part of learning some of our rules. If you would like to review "MT Gab Etiquette 101" please go to this link:

Hi all,

I decided to just dub from my standard tape player to my microcassette recorder using a dubbing audio cable that I bought at Radio Shack. It was only $11, and to make it as time efficient as possible, I plan to transcribe one tape while it is dubbing the next one. Problem solved! (At least in this case...) smile

Cheers!
