history of bilateral "quadrosizasis" with septic emboli. All I know is the patient had staph. What is this word really, please?

I am not sure if this is what you are hearing, but all I can think of is quadriparesis which refers to muscular weakness affecting all four extremities (quad = 4), but, the bilateral (bi = 2) part is throwing me as if something affects all four limbs, "bilateral" would be rather redundant.

Anyway, you could check this page and just do a word search for "quadriparesis" or "emboli".

Sorry I could not be of more help. When looking at your post, I am trying to make something out of quadriceps "something" but just cannot connect quadriceps stasis or sepsis.

just another guess -- quadriceps fasciitis?
