I'm trying to look up the drug ~ Mepergan (given 2 cc intramuscularly in the ER to patient)

I couldn't find a reference for it either, but it's probably a brand name for something like meperidine hydrochloride which is often used intramuscularly as a short-lasting analgesic.

Y'all are right, I think it is generic for Demerol and sometimes has other stuff mixed with it. After surgery once I was given "Mepergan Fortis."

You're right. Meperidine HCL is the generic name for Demerol. I still cannot find a listing (not in Canadian or U.S. references anyway) for Mepergan - it's driving me nuts.
