Hi all. Since this is the nicest MT board I've visited, I was wondering if anyone would like to just talk and get to know each other. You have all been really nice to me and I'd love to know more about you. I'll start, then I'll feel really stupid if nobody answers! :-) Anyway, I grew up in San Diego via Michigan and Rhode Island, but have lived in Colorado 19 years. I've been married 20 years to a real keeper and we have 3 teenagers, Justin (18), Holly (16) and Becky (15). I've got 3 cats, a German Shepherd and I love to sing, play the flute, do crafts and hang with my family when not typing. Oh yeah, and love to read when time allows! I'd love to get a horse at some point but my plate is WAY full at the moment! Take care & let me know if you want to pick up this thread.

My name is Lillian. I live in Wellington, KS. I work for MedQuist from my home. I have 2 children, Mandi 15 and Andrew 12. I have 3 step-sons, John 27, Todd 23, and Adam 22. I have been married to Ben for 5 yrs. I grew up in Missouri but moved to Kansas about 6 yrs ago. I mainly type ER notes, PT and OT notes. I go to the Wellington Church of the Nazarene. I love the Lord. He has been so good to me. Well I guess that is about it.

Hi Lillian. I forgot to mention I have 3 stepkids too! Mike lives in CO, and the twins, Mark and Marbiann, live in OK. All are married with children so I get to play grandma which is really fun! I haven't been real involved in church for awhile but I'm sure I will be again when my kids are older. I used to do way too much and there wasn't enough time for family. I really liked singing in choir and teaching 3-4 y/o kids in Sunday School. Do you like your job? I like both of mine.

I'm Linda Goddard and we have 5 children: Justin 12, Emil 11, Brittany 8, Miranda 5, and Jared 2. They are all wonderful children. I am taking a course with ICS of course on MT. Charlie and I have been married for 12 years. I also have to say that God has been and is so very good to us. Things have been rough lateley, because Charlie got injured and is not currently working yet. We're hoping that MT will work for me and all of us.
By the way, will someone look in the pet peeve section of this site and read what I typed there? No one has responded to me yet concerning these matters. Thanks.

Hello, girls..I live at the top of a mountain called Sugar Mountain in the Missouri Ozarks, near the Lake of the Ozarks. I just got married 9 days ago to the greatest guy in the world! I have been married and divorced and then married and widowed.. have had a pretty strange life, but have been doing MT for 11 years now. I work from my home now for ImageStat out of California (which I love) and also design web sites in my spare time, hehehe.. I call Kansas home (minus Dorothy and Toto) along with my hubby and three boys. I sometimes feel a little outnumbered, but I wouldn't trade my boys for girls! It's never dull around our house and you better be on the lookout for footballs, baseballs and golf balls at all times! (I've learned to yell time out when I come around the corner!) I've been doing MT since last fall and I love it. I subcontract for a friend of a friend and it has worked out very well! When I have spare time, I like to sew and do crafts, or at least that's what I used to do when I had spare time and I think that was when I was down with surgery! I keep saying things will slow down around here, but it never happens. There's always a ball game or practice or something. Maybe when school starts in less than 4 weeks (not that I'm counting!) Well, gotta get back to work ...

Hi all! I've enjoyed reading all of the input from everyone on the BB and am trying to learn to surf through and actually talk with you guys but somehow I keep getting messed up with where to put what and is it a reply or a new topic? And I'm supposed to be intelligent enough to do MT?! No really -this BB is great - very interesting and I have learned a lot from everyone.

I'm a true southerner from Alabama and have one son. I hope to be a full-time MT working out of my home very soon!! I love to read and swim and shop but there's not much time for that so I settle for doing lots of fun stuff with my family and will save the other for when my son is all grown up and I have some downtime for myself. I'm sure all of you know exactly what I mean!!
