Hi, all you helpful MT's! A doc I transcribe suggested this to a female pt today for a lack of sex drive...she never said that she "prescribed" it. Anyway, I found it online on a number of bulletin boards but couldn't confirm it anywhere. I also checked with 2 local pharmacists and neither had heard of it. Anybody know of a confirmed source for this drug?

Posting my own reply...Looked at one of those bulletin boards and it led me to an informative site. The drug in question is Avlimil, it's over the counter, and apparently, it's doubtful.

I've seen the commercial on television. They have their own website: www.avlimil.com. I believe it is over the counter.
