Hello,
I am finishing up the last 2 reports for an
"At-Home" medical transcription course, and after searching reference books and the internet for the past week-- I am unable to figure out 2 terms-- and it is driving me crazy!!
The doctors for both of these reports are "foreign". I will type out what the words sound like to me.
1. The patient has a long history of psychiatric illness with symptoms of both mood disorder and
_____ disorder in the past. (The word sounds like "oobitrod")
2. With respect to mental status, examination on this admission included ______ behavior and labile and irritable affect. (The word sounds like "anklepratic" )
I have looked up every type of disorder and behavior that I can possibly find-- and have had no luck. I will probably just "flag" these terms, but I wanted to check here first-- in case anyone might possibly know what these terms are, and be kind enough to post back.
Also--
Could someone please tell me if I have typed these medications correctly?
Cefaclor 20-150 mg per 5cc.
2.5cc p.o. t.i.d. x 7 days.
Oral syringe.
This is exactly what is dictated and this is what I have typed. I am not POSITIVE that he is saying "oral syringe", but I am pretty sure.
Thanks in advance for any help!!!!!
Take Care,
Autumnbelle
