Jeany:

Brand name: Celebrex
Generic: celecoxib

As you may know, it is the new drug for osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

I have not heard of "sophedrine" - are you asking for spelling of this drug or is this a drug you thought you thought sounded like this?

Maybe you should try our Drug Search page at:

Thanks for Celebrex and for the link. "sofeddrine" was what it sounded like, but very heavy accent, so it could be way off.

Hi! I also found a low-cost brand of pseudoephedrine called Suphedrin. I have a question, too. Anyone heard of "Lipodium?" That is what it sounded like but I couldn't find it. Thx - Ada

Ada:

Could that drug be "Imodium" a motility-lowering drug? Generic is "loperamide hydrochloride."

Hi guys,

Thanks for helping with Lipodium. I believe it was being used for a patient with high cholesterol and elevated triglycerides, as well as high blood pressure. It was an elderly patient. Thanks for looking, sorry so long in getting back to you, just had a son graduate high school and life has been hectic!

Ada
