Hi everyone, I'm a student still and trying to understand what I'm not understanding. The internet for one. Hope I'm doing this right and not annoying anybody. The patient is in operating room with a gun shot wound, right flank with injury to the right kidney. Active arterial bleeding, right kidney. Serosal tear, right 'mucical one' above the cecum. Bullet wound, right 'celast' muscle. Can you help?

Hi! Thank you for responding to my plea. I'm a student with At-Home Professions. I'm on my last course (#5) Lesson 1. This is tape #12. I feel like I should be better at this by now. I did figure out that 'mucical one' is actually mesocolon. I'm still lost on the 'celast' muscle though. I have Dorland's 29th edition Illustrarted Med. Dict. and Stedman's Concise Med. Dict., but still lost. Do you know where else I might be able to look?

Could it be the iliacus muscle you're hearing?

Gray's Anatomy also has good illustrations, and you can enlarge them by clicking on them http://www.bartleby.com/107/ HTH

Wow. Thank you, everybody, for your support. Now I have 2 problems. The first is still finding that muscle, and now the 2nd ... I'm finding myself checking out all of these new, awesome sites and not finding the muscle I'm suppose to be looking for because I'm getting side-tracked reading the stuff I find when I'm in the wrong place. Here's hoping I find where I'm suppose to be real soon. Thanks again.

Don't give up. You will find a job. You are at a good school. I found a job with a national company. The company will mentor me for 4 months. So keep going. You will find a job.

Thank you Amber! That's the BEST thing I've heard in a while. You always want to believe you're doing the right thing when you sign up for things ... You let me know that I did do the right thing. When I'm closer to getting the diploma you'll have to let me know how you found such a GREAT company. Are you working from home?

Hi Ann. I'm also new to the MT business, in fact I just graduated last week from the AHP course you're taking. It's taken me a year & a half to complete the course (had a baby, resigned from my job)& now I'm actively looking for a part time job. Have a few really promising leads, keep your fingers crossed for me. Anyway, I'd be happy to help you with your reports. Just an fyi.... only the last 4 reports ... 9, 10, 11 & 12 determine your final grade. If you're on reports 5, don't kill yourself trying to research & find that 1 word. It's good to keep your gpa up, but it really doesn't matter when it comes to your final grade. Are you still on reports 5 or are you past that point now? Let me know, I'd be happy to help you out, I remember how frustrating it can be. Hang in there!

Hi Kara, I have been reading some of the posts here and this one confuses me. You say that only reports 9, 10, 11 & 12 are on the final and that they are the last 4 reports. I am just completing course 4 of 5 and Quiz 29 was Reports 14. This one frustrated me since there is alot of information on FINAL DIAGNOSIS but there is not much as far as an example in the course. But what I am most confused about is your statement "the last 4 reports being 9, 10, 11 and 12. Can you please explain? Thanks! MAG55
