Ever hear of a drug microncholestepiol (it sounds vaguely familiar, but I can't find it anywhere or anything even close). It is a dose of 1 gram b.i.d. He says this very slowly and very easy to understand... he does all but spell it for me

Perhaps possibly mycophenolate mofetil (generic CellCept)? At least the first and last syllables somewhat match.
