Just wanted to share...

I had my first interview today for an MT position in a Neurosurgery clinic located in a very well-known hospital. I am trying to not get my hopes up, being that it was my first interview for an MT position, yet all I keep thinking about is gaining that "valuable" in-field experience that we all as newbie MTs yearn for. The position was not fully transcription, so I have the medical secretary experience to back me up, so that is a plus, but one of the doctors is really looking to get his transcripts done on site instead of outsourcing. So, it was a bit of a rush when he started asking me ideas about how I could trascribe from his office instead. Only time will tell...yet I am secretly still crossing my fingers...maybe a little!!
