Can anyone out there help me with an AHP question regarding lesson 43, quiz 31? On report #5, Robert Toda, in the procedures I have:
ventricle and through the pulmonary Arthro tract. Is the arthro tract correct? It is towards the beginning of procedures.
Also, at the end should the following be a new paragraph? (Complications: None. The patient tolerated the procedure well and there was no extensive active bleeding.) I have it that way but am not certain.
Thanks to whomever can help me here.
Sharon

Hi Sharon,

I can help. The first part of your question is "pulmonary outflow tract".

The second part re: complications etc. are all still in the run on style, no new paragraph.

Good luck.

Lakelife: Quiz 31 is self-grade!

right ventricle and
through the pulmonary outflow tract.

Complications: None.
Th e patient tolerated the procedure well, and there was no evidence of active bleeding.

Kathy, thanks much for your help. And also for the wish of good luck, I know I am needing allot of that.
Another question: The Dr dictates that this is an Operative Note, not an Operative Report. How should I transcribe that, as dictated ?? and the Usual heading of OPERATIVE REPORT, should that be like this or as Dr. dictated the first? Thanks again
Sharon
