Discharge medications and after each medication s/l is saying "two pegs". States medication, dosage, "two pegs", then frequency to take the medication. Has said it after 3/5 medications listed.

I`ve never heard anything like that. Perhaps he means a :, but I think this is something you will have to ask about to be sure.

I *might* recognize something.

Another thought, a doc I transcribe for will dictate the word "comma" (don't ask me why) when listing his Diagnoses, list of meds, etc.

Example (not a real pt.. HIPPA crap considered here)
Synthroid 0.1 mg 1 pill twice daily "comma"
Lyrica 75 mg take t.i.d. (which means three times daily) "comma"
...then dictates the next med. Did that help you at all perhaps? I'm try to find a pattern which may help determine

Yes. Sounds Indian or Pakistanian maybe.
