Hi,
In the interest of a lot of new MTs just finished and those still pursuing, those that have discontinued and thinking of continuing, I am giving this information just to encourage and to all those who find it difficult transcribing difficult transcripts like OP etc.
Well, the first and foremost thing to be an MT you should be knowing typing, but I have not learnt typing and still type with only 2 or 3 fingers and still have to see the keyboard sometimes to type words.
Second, I just became so fond of getting my spellings right, how? I remember that I went for an interview for my Ist grade admission, at that time the nuns there asked me to spell the word Umbrella and I got the spelling wrong. After that it just became a passion for me to spell words correctly. So spelling is vital in medical transcription, right?
Next was transcribing OP reports. I never touched it until my Editor introduced it to me and after that I was just transcribing only OP and doing nothing after that.
Ok you say the next and we will continue .....
