Hoping someone can help me out with this.

Is it backbled, back-bled or back bled when referring to an anastomosis and graft? Same with forebled.

And does a "subcutaneous cuticular layer of 3-0 Dexon" make sense with those words meaning 2 different things?

Hi Kris,

This is way beyond me... never done surgery notes.

However, if you Google "subcutaneous cuticular layer" (with the quotes) you'll get 1 hit, and it's from MTGab.

Also, if you Google "anastomosis back bled" (without the quotes) you'll get several hits, and I think you'll find your answer.

Hope this helps
