Good morning! I am presently taking the transcription course through Allied. I have been looking up and down and everywhere including the error-prone list and do not use list, and my style guide for help.

Doctor dictated:
nitro patch 5 mg topically q 24 hours

If I transcribe 5 mg topically daily 24 hours, that doesn't seem right. Is it correct to say only daily?
