Can't figure this out. "There was mesenteric caking, laziness suspicion peritoneal neoplasm" Could also be "for a neoplasm"
(The lady has metastatic ovarian cancer with ascites.)

It could be mesenteric caking and laziness, which is suspicious for peritoneal neoplasm.
The mesentery can be described as caking or lazy when talking about it being diseased. I hope this helps.

That does help it to make more sense. I wondered how laziness fit in there. It still sounds so jumbled though, like he just smooshed the words together.

By the way, we were both wrong. He says nothing about laziness. Don't want anyone to look at this for reference because it is not accurate.

Hi-I am currently working on this dictation, and believe it to be "there was mesenteric caking, raising the suspicion for a neoplasm". By any chance do you know what he is saying earlier on where he says "there were definite (foments?) in the left lower quadrant with pain on firm palpation". I agree, he smooshes the words and the tape quality is grainy.

Yea, you are right about the first part.
There was definite fullness in the left lower quadrant...
