I am having a horrible time with the Kidney section of this microscopic autopsy. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Kidneys: The kidneys have a thin capsule. ("Acordosis") that show ("mameruli") of normal appearance. Tubules are not remarkable. Interstitial tissue showed no unordinary change. ("Balbies") are not remarkable.

I googled "microscopic autopsy kidney" (without the quotes), and quite a few articles turned up. I hope you can find something useful in them... Even though it's been a while since your question, they might prove useful in the future, and the technique might also be useful.

Did you ever find help with this? I have a feeling we are taking the same course...I had the same sentence in my assignments. I found this website when I was looking for help on some of the words that I couldn't decipher. At least one good thing came out of the mumbling doctor.

What was that? The good thing? I am in tears because I can not get what he is saying. This is what I have so far:

Lungs: Plausible sections of the lungs show largely distended alveoli where spaces filled with a fibres at the alveolar walls. The thickened vessels are congested.....

What is he saying after that. he sounds like he has crackers in his mouth.

Has anyone had any luck figuring this terrible dictation out? I don't understand how they think we are going to understand this.

I am doing this one now - it is TERRIBLE!!!!!! I cannot understand 90% of what this man is saying - and we're being tested on this!! It's also extremely hard to look up anything when you can't understand enough to be able to have the info to know where to start!! I think he has more than crackers in his mouth, lol. This is nuts! How did you do on this one? Have you turned it in yet??
