A list for any fellow MT's needing help or stuck on the spelling of one of the newer meds released in the last couple of years with a small summary/description what they are for.

Amitiza (lubiprostone) - chronic idiopathic constipation
Aptivus (tipranavir) - HIV-1 infections
Baraclude (entecavir) - chronic hepatitis B infections
BiDil (isosorbide dinitrate/hydralazine hydrochloride) - heart failure in black patients
Boniva (ibandronate) - osteoporosis prevention
Byetta (exenatide) - adjunctive treatment of Type 2 DM
Chantix (varenicline) - nicotine addiction
Dacogen (decitabine) - Myelodysplastic Syndromes
Eraxis (anidulafungin) - Candida fungal infections
Gardasil (quadrivalent human papillomavirus (types 6, 11, 16, 18) recombinant vaccine) - HPV vac
Increlex (mecasermin) - endocrine something or other

Thanks again for the list. Just to let you know, I have finally taken the time to add these to my dictionary and have confirmed all of them as correct. Hopefully it will save me research time in the future! Thanks again.

Thanks for the encouragement. Because I keep these for my personal reference, I check them and look to see the indications for each. Unless the PDR's, etc are wrong, they should all be correct, but as we all know, never hurts to have a second set of eyes.
I'm working on making a database to make them easy.. right now, working on meds out since 2000.

Here's one I just came across that I never heard of and used in a report until now:
Tracleer (bosentan) - Pulmonary arterial hypertension
