One of my favorites was when one of my docs dictated "ADLA 6 a day." I researched and listened and couldn't get it. Finally went away for a couple of hours, came back, and it was very clear: 80 of Lasix a day!
That is a good hint for newbies--come back to it later, because it might sound different then!
The docs don't realize sometimes it's all in the phrasing! I'm sure if your doc had paused ever so slightly between words and not run dateofbirth together you would not have had to waste all that time!
