Obviously we use the computer for working, so outside the obvious, what hobbies do others here have? ie. family, reading, gardening, sports, watching movies, etc.

Well, I'm not going first again. I don't have any hobbies anyway. I pretty much work, and when I'm not working, I sleep, sit on my but in front of the TV, and do those things that have to be done - grocery store, etc. Darn it... I went first again.

I have a bunch of web sites I visit every day, and I have several cyberfriends I write to in addition to family. In the summer I go to baseball games, and I go fishing with my kid brother once a year. I guess my cats are my hobby too. I used to knit and crochet, but overdid it and now have fairly severe de Quervain`s, so I can`t do it any more.

I don't have a lot of time between work and family, but I enjoy spending time with friends and I love genealogy--the web makes it so easy to track things down! I used to crochet but I am paranoid about overuse of my hands--no problems so far!

I've got lots of plans when I retire (unfortunately not any time soon)--I want to visit all the people I've not had time to visit, learn to quilt, learn to play the violin, and go to some of the places where my ancestors lived (some are around here, which I've been to, but my paternal great-grandparents were from Cape Breton, so I want to go there for sure--it looks beautiful!).

i guess working could count as a hobby for me right now since i just started and really enjoy it. (yes, i'm a nerd.)

i also really love watching horror movies -- (the gorier, the better), spending time with my little man, brody who just turned 2, and watching atlanta braves baseball (again, i am well aware of the dork factor!)

cmt... i like the indians as well, we just don't usually get to see them on tv here.

i live in braves/cubs tv country (ie-the panhandle of florida). lol which is weird, since the cubs are out of chicago, but we've always gotten their games.

I enjoy reading, but I really don't have time anymore for the things I used to do. I spend most of my day behind this computer working. I think that is one of the sad parts of working at home. You never can get away from your work. I walk out of my office but then find myself coming right back in again.

I enjoy astronomy (with a very large backyard telescope) and going for walks, both during the six or seven months out of the year that the weather permits.
