This question was asked years ago, but I am new here and I was wondering if anyone has actually USED a Dvorak keyboard. I am doing quite a lot of Speech Rec work so I wonder if I could master this without much effect on my income. Thanks!

I've never used a Dvorak keyboard, but as I understand, it greatly increases one's typing speed. When I was in school, I was told if one types 80 WPM that it would take 80 hours to master it; 70 WPM, 70 hours, etc.

I've not heard about Dvorak keyboard, From this forum i came to know that it will increase the typing speed. It's sounds good.

You can actually convert your keyboard to Dvorak and try it out. Of course the letters on your key caps will not be changed, but the letter locations will change in your operations.
